About: This Career Café webinar will provide strategies for career development professionals to support their work with clients battling the ups and downs of the job search in today’s market. Job seekers are often dealing with a roller coaster of emotions from excitement to hope to disappointment. With the changing job market since the pandemic, job seekers are feeling more unsettled. Helping clients understand and manage emotions can lead to greater effort and success.

As a career counselor with decades of experience and as an obsessive fan of daily inspiration books, Karen recognized that clients need tailored emotional support in addition to career change help and job search advice. Karen has coached thousands of clients, including twenty years in her own business, Litzinger Career Consulting. She is a Certified Career Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Global Career Development Facilitator. Karen helps individual clients from high school students through retirees clarify their goals - and reach them. For corporate clients, Karen provides personalized career transition services during downsizing. Karen hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but helps clients across the country remotely.
