CALL FOR PROPOSALS - NOW OPEN
In alignment with NCDA’s annual conference, please consider the following items when developing your presentation topic.
Innovative and effective interventions and programs that address strategies and techniques focused on the interconnection of career development and mental health.
Innovative and effective evidence-based applications that integrate theory, research, and practice.
Innovative and effective strategies for meeting the career development needs of people across the lifespan and the significance of the impact of mental health issues and concerns, especially people from population groups that are underrepresented in the professional literature, servicers, and training (immigrants, people of color, women, sexual minorities, people with disabilities, limited income, etc.).
Effective techniques used to build cultural competence and professional effectiveness of career practitioners, and/or the MichCDA membership.
Effective techniques used by practitioners to address the current social justice issues affecting careers of marginalized underrepresented groups and their mental health, well-being, and success.
Effective techniques and innovative practices to assist career development providers embracing the relevant evolving changes in the field.
Innovative strategies to address the delivery of career assessments, guidance, occupational information, and related career development services.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:
January 1, 2027 at 11:59 PM.
All proposals will be considered.
Notification of proposal status will be communicated via email no later than January 28, 2026.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Online Pre-registration will close on the website from April 11th-15th to confirm final headcounts.
Day-of Registration will be accepted and take place at the conference on April 16th.
Purchase order/bulk registration requests will not be accepted after March 17th (30 days prior to event).
Paid registration for the Michigan Career Development Association’s (MichCDA) Annual Conference is required of all presenters.
Purchase Orders & Bulk Registration Requests
Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the event date (3/17/27) and paid for within 30 days of receipt.
