About our Mini-Conference

Join the Michigan Career Development Association (MichCDA) for a dynamic half-day virtual conference designed to connect, challenge, and equip career development professionals across Michigan and beyond.

Career development is changing—and the work we do must evolve with it. This interactive virtual experience will bring together professionals from K-12, higher education, workforce development, private practice, and related fields to explore how we can strengthen our practice, advocate for the profession, and better serve the individuals and communities we support.

Throughout the morning, participants will engage with timely topics including social justice-informed career development, the Michigan Career Development Model, advocacy, constituency-specific perspectives, and strategies for creating systemic and personal change. Dedicated networking and constituency group conversations will also provide opportunities to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and learn from professionals working across different areas of the field. This half-day virtual mini-conference offers a unique opportunity to gain cutting-edge knowledge, connect with fellow professionals, and earn valuable credentials—all from the comfort of your home or office.

What You’ll Gain:

• Certificate of Attendance: All Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance after the event that can be used for tracking purposes.

• 4 CEUs and/or Career SCECHs for K-12 Educators: This conference is approved for four (4) CEUs for K-12 educator SCECHs and meets continuing education requirements for the NCDA credentials and the GCDF credential.
