The Michigan Career Development Association is the go-to professional organization for career development practitioners. MichCDA supports the career development field through professional growth, education, member engagement and leadership opportunities.
Our mission is to promote career planning and development across the lifespan. This results in personal satisfaction and success for our students, clients, and constituents across Michigan.
As a state affiliate of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), our goal is to provide members with professional development opportunities through connections, shared knowledge, and resources.
Our MichCDA community welcomes diverse professionals in all spaces dedicated to career development. Our members include career counselors, career development practitioners, K–12 career educators, academic advisors, career coaches, and private practice counselors and coaches. We also welcome individuals in workforce development, government, industry, and business spaces. What unites us is a shared passion for guiding and supporting others in their career journey.
